Probably look around the local yellow pages under parties. As for supplies you could have a Diego theme :

I would check the yellow pages for "childrens entertainment", there may be a listing for companies that supply different mascots or in our area, there is a costume shop that rents costumes as well as has mascots for hire...the one in our area charges about $125 an hour for a mascot and a face painter...hth!!! good luck
