I want to attend college next year, but while I was in high school I did not take the ACT, what shall I do.?
I've been out of high school for almost 2 years, and I am now ready to go to a Community College. But while still attending high school, I did not get a chance to take the ACT. Will I be able to take the ACT and go to college or not. Help!

I started community college nearly 6 years after graduating, and they didn't require anything other than english/math placement testing. As far as I know, you dont need ACT, SAT, or any other test other than the basic placement exams. Community College is normally open for all people, no matter how high they score on tests.
Have fun!

Yes, you will be able, and required to take the ACT. Check with the CC to see when they are offering it. It is totally normal and the ACT is proctored all the time at community colleges and HS.

Unnecessary. They'll test you when you enroll. I didn't take the SAT or the ACT, and I was able to enroll in a community college and transfer to a university.

You can still take the test! My friends are in college with me and are still able to take it to boost their scores.... go here and they will have all the answers you need!

the ACT/SAT tests are mainly for scholarships not admittance you dont need to take them if your paying to go, but some grants that you may be able to get might require them so it wouldnt hurt to pay the 30 something dollars to take it

You'll take an acceptance test. No worries.
Good luck with whatever path you choose to follow!
