Matt Priors Injury?

If it is possible to call up another wicket keeeper if Matt Prior is out for the rest of the T20 World Cup, who would you pick? I would be torn between Paul Nixon and Phil Mustard!

Update:

The wicket keeper for the ODI Series against Sri Lanka has been named as Phil Mustard. Your views??

Phil Mustard is a great choice, and he's on top of his form as part of a side which is playing great team cricket at the moment. Shane Warne rates him the best one-day keeper/batsman in the country.

Paul Nixon was only ever going to be an emergency stop-gap measure.

I'm a big Chris Read fan, but I don't think his current form justifies a place.

Tim Ambrose is the other possible choice, I'd have had him as second favourite to Mustard for the winter. His career stats are better than Mustard's (see below), but both have been on top form this summer.

    Current stats HS/Ave/SR

    Ambrose:

    First-class 251* 34.87 50.56

    List A 135 30.68 73.09

    Twenty20 20 77 33.46 131.41

    Mustard:

    First-class 130 27.41 72.82

    List A 108 27.78 **.**

    Twenty20 29 67* 22.25 130.93

in my books it would be Paul Nixon, he has international experience and has won the 20/20 cup in England for Lesteshire.

However, England can't bring in anyone else so it would be Solanki to keep wicket as he took over with the gloves in training after Matt Prior left.

Solanki surley can't be a worse keeper than Matt Prior anyway!!!

I dont know it is a hard choice, but I would probably pick Nixon because he has played international cricket and as we have seen from Luke Wright there is a big difference between county games and internationals.
