Computer Network all messed up by erasing made changes when logging off computer.Why?
I am Computer programming teacher at a high school myself and need help fixing a network problem I'm having with all the computer in my room. Every time i would try to put in some files for my students to use they all get erased when they log off their computers and i have no idea why. The computers have no type of software they will make that happen. Also when the students try to changed they're desktop and arrange their profiles by themselves it also get erased when they log off. School already long started and i need to get this problem fixed soon so i can get them to work.

Why not ask the school's IT department. This kind of behavior sounds typical of the stuff they do at my wife's school. The usefulness of the computers is just about zip by the time the school imposes all the "required" restrictions. Nothing can be stored on the local PC, the desktop is locked from any changes, each person must have their own log-on etc............
