Is there really a problem in an older guy seeing a younger woman?

Question

I am mid 50's and dating a woman in her early 20's. We have a lot of fun together, talk a lot and see eye to eye on most topics. She is very mature for her age and gives the impression of a much older person. She enjoys life and has awakened in me feelings that I thought were dead.  Most of her family accept me and the relationship, but she is very close to her grandparents and will not commit to the relationship completely without their approval and as of now they do not approve. Should I walk away or fight for the girl I love?

Wow, that's a huge age difference! I normally beat this to a bloody pulp as I do not agree with the old man/young woman concept, but you said something that struck a nerve and that was she awakened feelings you thought you no longer had, so I am going to say fight for the girl you love....

They say that you do not marry families but, you do... Unless they both pass away before you marry her.. it might not be an ideal situation for you after all, you are old enough to be her father and that is what the grandparents are looking at.

i would just give them time to adjust to it because that is their grand daughter and they wont the best for her and they will see that she loves you and they will change thier mind about you ! and if you love her you wouldnt walk away you would fight for her or wait for the grandparents do approve of this
