Get this, my dog is back !!?
Hey miss pebbles is back, some guy brung her home 30 mins. ago, the funny thing is, she was still with the cocker spaniel she ran off with earlier in the day. I guess those two hit it off pretty good. The man who owns the other dog said he havn't seen his dog that happy and carefree in sometime. his dog has a cancer growing in her stomach and they don't want the vet to operate. She seemed crazy happy her selfrunning all over the house as if she wanted to tell all the things she did. I have never seen her so dirty and happy, the man , who's name is Ted said he wish he could keep them both , but she is a little to rough for his pooch named Ross. Well as you can see I back to square 1, but this time I will take to the door of somebody's shelter tommorow,my poor kid will not be able to bear it now. I thank all of you who understood me and the ones who didn't I say suck an egg !! She ran off with this pooch. Good thing she had tags So now what should I do in the morning?

If you have had this dog for a year in your apartment, why didn't the manager do anything about it? At any rate, after all this time, I would keep Pebbles until I found her a good home. Put an ad in the paper, on the boards in the super markets, ask around if anyone wants a good dog.
Don't take her to a shelter. She doesn't deserve to die that way. Get busy & locate her a home. You owe her that much. And you owe your step daughter. You will become her hero if you save Pebbles & find her a forever home.

Ike, as I told you yesterday and the offer is still good, if you contact me separately with your city, state and some info about Pebbles, then I will do everything I can to help you find a rescue that can take her fast! I'm glad she's safe.

NEVER do a "free to good home" ad.
Why "Free To Good Home" Ad -- A Death Sentence
What Could Happen To An Animal From A "Free To Good Home" Ad?
* Tortured or killed by animal abusers
* Sold to research labs for experiments
* Used as bait for fighting dogs
* Victims of neglect
arrow What Is A "Buncher?"
A buncher either steals or "adopts" companion animals for the purpose of selling the animal. Bunchers can sell animals for one or more of the following reasons:
* To be used in research labs
* To be used as bait, for example, to train dogs in fighting rings
* To be used as breeding stock in puppy mills or catteries
"Bunchers" can be very deceptive and they prey on people who place "free to good home" ads. They will sometimes use children as part of the ploy and present themselves as a "perfect" family. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Most owners aren't that luck to get their babies back. As for the other dog, that is a hard one to call. I have always called animal control, especially if the stray has tags. If not, see if you can find a local spaniel rescue place and they will take the dog. Good luck!!! DOGS RULE!!!

Would you have time to advertise her for "free" in the newspaper or on the radio? At least that way she has a chance at a home instead of going to a shelter where they might kill her.
I am so sorry you have to get rid of your dog.

I haven't followed the apparent saga and I am not sure where you at... Is someone going to the shelter? If so, why?
