Basically, in all the books that you have read, what ones have good sex scenes?

Okay...I'm a huge reader so here we go: Hell's Belles, Valley of Horses, The Scent of Shadows: First sign of the Zodiac, Prophecy, Destiny, and Bitten.
I know there are more, but those ones are really good. Although I wouldn't judge them just by the sex scenes. The books themselves are awesome. Personally, I just love a good romance in any book I read.

Isn't "best" an entirely subjective word? What is best for one may be horrible for another.
As a counter-point to the romantic books listed, try "American Psycho" by Bret Easton Ellis.
(As a disclaimer, I am using "best" as most unforgetable... and several scenes in AP have remained burned into my memory some 16 years later).

The Secret History of the Pink Carnation, by Lauren Willig.
That book has history, mystery, romance...pretty much anything you'd want out of a book. But the sex scene is pretty good...

It rather relies upon. Is there a valid reason in the back of the scene or does it look thrown in or rushed to? A intercourse scene can kill a narrative whether it somewhat is not any longer used suitable, exceedingly if it comes off as somewhat over the precise as you describe. exceedingly in youngster romances, intercourse scenes are elementary to place in writing or maybe much less annoying to take overboard without attempting and kill the plot.

"Landscape With Animals" by Cameron S. Redfern (Sonya Hartnett). An interesting novel about a love affair between a woman and a married man. The author never gives proper names to her characters but she does give them an awful lot of very graphic sex scenes. Happy reading to you! :-)

Delta of Venus is good.
My favorite erotic works are Under the Hill by Aubrey Beardsley and an anonymous Victorian work called Teleny.

I agree with lizzi, D.H. Lawrence's "Lady Chatterley's Lover" has long been regarded as a classic in the genre. However, it takes time and patience while reading it since there are lots of dialogues with great narration as well as unusual texts and dialects.
