Customer Service Phone number for greendot visa card? Please Help??
Please, does anyone have a phone number for the greendot visa card where you can actually talk with a human being instead of a machine? I have looked everywhere for some sort of number to ask questions about my account and so far can't get anything but a stupid machine that does't help me at all.
Please can someone help me with this serious problem? I'm desparate.

I have called the 877-434-3578 number several times and they do not give the option of speaking with a person. It's all a machine.
I'm hoping and praying there is some other number somewhere that let's you talk to a live person.

It's hard to believe that a company so popular wouldn't have customer service. I've never had a problem before, however, this is very aggravating and wouldn't reccomend this company to anyone after all this mess. Thanks for trying to help, anyway.

I finially figured out how to get a human being by calling the above number.
1. Press the key on phone thats says you want to replace a stolen or lost card.
2. Press the key on phone that says you never received your card.
Then they will transfer you to a human being to talk with about any problems you may be having.
I still wouldn't reccomend this company for many reasons.

Oh man, that's a kind of funny since I was in the same situation and it drove me crazy at the time. I wrote them a letter and asked for their phone number, a week later I received a list with numbers and I could reach them without waiting times. However, I tried again to call them today and I got frustrated when I noticed that all numbers did not work anymore. Luckily I found a website that updates the greendot visa card phone numbers regularly. Watch out, their reps lie to you on the phone, which will leave you in dire circumstances like me. Their 'Stepford' customer service is appalling. The reps have no idea what you are saying...they can only read words from a prepared form. That pause after you ask them a question...is them looking for the answer on the form that may or may not have anything to do with your question.
A rep named 'James' (they all have these American names) lied to me so I would stay with greendot. I now have no money at hand. The remainder of my Social Security check was used for rent. The money that greendot took from me was for necessities, like food. If I have to, I will drive down to Pasadena (after borrowing some money for gas and a sandwich), alert the press, then go to Corporate to get my money.
If you don't want to go to Pasadena, then contact your State Attorney General and file a complaint. Also contact Michael Finney, consumer advocate pitbull, at KGO TV in San Francisco. He WILL get you your money back.

The number you require is not available, greendot customers are known as machines by this nature machines therefore are only able to answer any questions you may have.
It is therefore adviseable that you speak to the Supervisor machine, which we believe is situated somewhere in India.

I would be worried... ticked, to say the least. I had green dot... hated it with a passion and do not reccomend it!!! Plus everytime you put money on the card they charge you five dollars... EVERY time! Plus a fee for even having the card. Keep trying to get in touch with them... if they put you on hold at all... put the phone on speaker phone and put it down... gives you more power to wait... and wait until someone answers. If that wont work contact your area Better Business Bureau, they may be able to get something done for you. Businesses usually don't like to be reported to the BBB.
