As far as i know if you have more than 15% of your best anwser in 1 category you will be accorded the top contributor but you need to answer more than 100 Question...

Maybe YA have a set of their own regulations, your top answerer is gone because someone else has beaten you to it.

I think this is not the spirit and main purpose of Yahoo!answers.

The purpose is not to "compete" and win the "bragging rights" of who is the top answer/contributor... but rather to the contributions to knowledge.

If your sole purpose is the win the bragging rights... then I think this is not the forum for u.

try to do more answering if u like to be on the top
