Blood is ALWAYS red. There is no such thing as a "white blood clot."
Calm down. Just take the "chunk of white" thing out of your mouth. If it's hard like a little rock, then it's a piece of the tooth they took out. That is very normal. When they remove teeth, pieces do break off and sometimes to get them out, the oral surgeon has to break the tooth into pieces and you'll get a few little pieces floating around for a couple days. Nothing to worry about.
Dry sockets come from sucking on something and pulling the blood clot out of the extraction site. That means---do not use a straw, do not smoke, do not suck on lollipops, Popsicles, etc. Follow your doctor's instructions. You'll be fine.

Dry sockets usually occur 3-4 days after the extractions. They occur because you somehow lost the blood clot, which now causes your bone to be exposed. It it very painful. If you do not get dry socket in 3-4 days, then it will never occur. As for the white chuck, if it is soft, than it may be gauze, cotton, or even excess tissue (which will necrose and fall off eventually). If it is hard, it may be part of the tooth. In any case, if it is not connected, than spit it out. If it is connected, than ask your dentist.
