I have an HP desktop with Windows XP Media Center Edition and a Lightscribe DVD burner. I need to know what is some good (preferably free) Dvd ripping/burning software that i can download? I want to be able to copy a dvd movie onto my cpu and then burn it to a disc. Any help would be great. thanks.

If you want to copy a dvd movie onto my computer, you may use a DVD Ripper to help you. Then you may use DVD Burner to burn to DVD.

I Recommend you to try Daniusoft DVD Ripper which I used for a long time. It could copy DVD and convert any DVD to all popular video formats as: MP4, WMV, AVI with only three steps.

You can see detail and free download it here:

    http://www.daniusoft.com/dvd-ripper.html

Here I found a good video guide to tell you how to ripping DVD:

I use a dvd ripper program and then burn with either Stomp recordnow deluxe, alcohol 120% ... it depends on what format you want to rip to and what kind of player you intend to use .. I highly recommend looking at the following site:

    http://www.videohelp.com/

It's a site dedicated to video editing, authoring, burning, converting and has everything you'd ever want to know including links to programs, detailed how-to's, compatability of hardware, etc.

    Good luck!h
