Is there a law to prevent someone posting your photo on the Internet?

If someone post my photo on a forum to expose my true identity... can I sue him?

    No it is not unless he is purposefully displaying FALSE information that can undeservingly discredit you however if it is just a photo and it is revealing or implying nothing but the truth then no there is no law to prevent him posting the picture. sorry good luck all the best wishes to you :)

    I don't know about sue, but you can get it removed.

    Media can post anything without authorization from people. The rest of us cannot unless they are a public figure!

    call and talk to a lawyer this happen to a friend and he was able to sue.
