I'm sure this can be fixed easily but everyone on here seems to be making it into a big deal with system restore and istallation disks.

For vista right click on the desktop, then click personlize, in the window that comes up look in the blue/green pane on the left, and click on the "change desktop icons" link.

A dialogue box should come up, at the top tick the box next to "recycle bin". Ones with ticks will be shown on your desktop

    Hope this helps

Right-click an empty area of your desktop

    Select Properties

    Click the Desktop tab

    Click the Customize button

If recycle bin is shown, right click on it and choose create shortcut to the desktop, if it's not there

    Click Restore Default

Exit all windows and restart your com

Use System restore, go to a date before the deletion and presto it'll be back. Otherwise use the windows installation disc, follow the directions.

For furure ref: don't delete it, delete what in it.lol
