Is Crystal Light okay to drink more often to get daily intake of water?

I have a hard time drinking plain water and I was wondering if I added more of those Crystal Light ToGo packets to my water bottle if that would still count as my daily 8 glasses of water.

    I asked this very same question to my doctor. He said it was fine to do that, as long as I got my water in. Drinking one 16 oz bottle of water with one pack of Crystal Light On the Go gives you 5 calories and 10 mg of Sodium. No fat, no carbs. Good luck!

    yes, it is fine to add crystal light to your water, it counts as water because its sugar and caffeine free. i am on weight watchers and they say its fine. but i cant count my coffee as water because its got caffeine (which dehydrates you). Make Sense? So, go ahead and drink the Crystal light if you cant stand water, it is better than getting no water at all. you should have 6 glasses a day. :)

    Technically anything with any water in it counts (all drinks and lots of foods), but for varying amounts.

    if u want your health good drink 2 liter of water per day and stay healthy but at all the water at one time

    Yes, it's still water.

    Saying that adding something to your water makes it "not water" is dopey. What if you drink water with your meal? Does that mean that the food you eat turns the water into something else? Adding "chemicals" to your water does not rob you of water's benefits. Puh-leeze!

    Bottom line is nothing replaces water. People have the false concept that it contains water so its ok (not so). Water is water ,it contains no impurities supplying your body with its benefits . Water alone is detoxifying,cleansing also keeps you from dehydrating the list goes on . Sticking with the real deal whatever your reason for consumption. 8 is a low amount of water to begin with you should, at least consume 64 oz. to have sufficient intake. Adding chemicals completely robs you of its benefits.Stick with the clear your body will thank you!
