If the earth is speeding aroudd the sun at 60+000 mph, how fast is the earth speeding around the ctr. of our g
I do not mean spinning maybe i mean rotating, It's interesting, thats all.
Sorry I ran out of typing room, see, I'm still learning this.

the earth spins around it self (rotation) at the speed of 465.11 m/s and with a orbital speed of 30.287 km/s and i think the hole solar system is rotation in the galaxy at the speed of 6000km/hr. it takes the hole solor system nearly one billion year to complete one rotation around the galactic center

Um, the center of our g? As in... galaxy?
The speed at which the earth revolves around the sun has nothing to do with the speed at which the solar system revolves around the Milky Way, other than the fact that the relationships are the same (which involve their masses, distances from the center, orbital pattern and the time it takes to complete one revolution). The sun is about 26,000 light years away from the center of the galaxy and it takes our sun/solar system about 200-250 million years to make one revolution.
If, hypothetically, you were to say the solar system's orbit was circular, the speed would come out to be about 155 miles per second (converting light years to miles and years to seconds) using the formula: speed = distance traveled/time.. where distance traveled is the circumference of the orbit, 2*pi*r
If you do the calculation:
[2 * pi * 26000 light years * (5.9 * 10^12 miles/light year)] / [200,000,000 years * (60 secs/min * 60 mins/hr * 24 hrs/day * 365 days/year)] â 155 miles/sec
Rotating involves an object turning about an axis or center (like the earth spinning around its axis). Revolving is moving along a curved path about an axis or center (like the earth going around the sun). Which one do you mean?
