Why Do We Have Favorite Colors?

I'm Scorpio. Black and red.

Colors are an extension of our personality, certain colors convey different emotions and feelings - and strangely enough, these affect most people subconsciously the same way.

Peoples reaction to color go as far back in history as wee do, for instance the ancient Egyptian pharaohs wore a crown of white for Upper Egypt and a crown of red for Lower Egypt. These colors were symbolic of the earth so I would suppose other early cultures took into consideration of other natural earthly colors. These colors were then given certain representations in religious ceremony and art. Today is based on our primitive "upbringing" so-to-speak.

I don't really know how 2 answer , but I'd guess mayb it's bcause a color is what describes our personlaities . If our favorite color is red than that person is passonate and classic , if's it's blue that person is sensitive and shy , if it's yellow that person is optimistic and always looks on the bright side , if it is pink that perosn is sweet and sensitive , if it is green that person is natural and plain , if it is purple that person is cool but doesn't want to show it , if a perosn's favorite color is black that person is very mean and doesn't like to be recgnized , very self centered , and orange that person is optimistic and fruity ( LOL ) , if it is brown that perosn is diffrent and shy , and if a perosn's favorite color is white , they've gotta b kidding me . colors transmit certain messages throught the optic nerve producing sensations that can make us happy or sad. Since we are all different, different colors produce different sensations.
