Where to stay in Campobasso, Italy?
My husband, 3 year old son and I will be in Campobasso, Italy to see the region where my husbands grandparents grew up and married before emmigrating to the United States. I am having difficulty finding a place to stay though. I am primarily looking for a bed & breakfast type of accomodations. I have sent various emails to places near Campobasso, but do not get any replies to my inquiries.
Neither of us know any Italian which might be why we are not getting responses?
We plan on spending 3 nights in Campobasso in late November.
Help?
We are flying into and out of Rome. We do not want to stay in Termoli. We want to stay in Campobasso or a village near by. My husband has a Great Uncle, cousins and other relatives that still live in Campobasso and the surrounding villages. We do not personally know them, so we do not want to ask to stay with them. They also don't speak English... so we are at a stand still.

Instead of Campobasso you could stay in Termoli, a nice place on the coast. You can book an hotel using www.booking.it
I already checked and there's an hotel on the beach called Hotel Garim (B&B)where a triple room from the 27 to the 30 of november costs 375 euro total.

I tried finding hotels/motels in Campbasso last year and had a bit of trouble - not many to choose from.
Try Tripadvisor.com. - it is a great source for hotel/motel info and customer reviews.
Two hotels listed are: Hotel Eden and Cascina Garden Hotel.

i found a 3 star hotel its name is Cascina Garden Hotel address is Contrada Tappino, 61 - 86100 Campobasso (Campobasso). it says that starting price is 70€. it doesnt say a phone number though but you can check out http://www.ultrahotels.it/molise/campobasso/campob... or http://www.ultrahotels.it/molise/campobasso/campob... (they are in italian)
better yet there's "La Chiave" translated "The key" check out http://www.bed-and-breakfast.it/pagina.cfm?ID=4294... they have an english version
