Lost Chase Bank Credit Card cancellation fee?

I work for chase... there is no cancellation fee and no fee to replace it... it cannot be reopened and your new one should be to you in 5-7 days

Cards get lost, cards get stolen, cards just plain wear out and the magnetic strip doesn't work any more. Once you cancel a card and order a new one, if you find the old one cut it up and throw it away, it's in the system as lost or stolen and will not do you any good. Your new one will arrive in the mail shortly, and there is no such thing as a fee to cancel a card.

I don't know about the fee. If your cousin cancelled already then that card you just found is no good. Did he order you a new card?

I have never heard of any credit card charging a fee for cancellation.

Too late. Once a card is reported missing or stolen the card company takes immediate action. Usually they don't charge fees on the lost cards. They just send out a new one in the mail.
