Growths in my dog's mouth!!!?

I just noticed some round pink growths in my dog's mouth. There are 3, on the inside of his cheek. They look furry, almost cauliflower-like in appearance.

I'm taking my dog to the vet later, but do any of you know what this could be?

Here's a link to a picture.

Thanks!

if your dog is under 2 then it is probably a wart caused by a virus that will go away in time. they can be caused by stress. my dog got one on his lip after his flight to germany. it went away in about a month. it just started shrinking.

Obvoiusly, there is a chance that the growths are malignant, so you're doing the right thing by taking him to the vet ASAP. Cancers in the mouth can grow and spread very rapidly, so you'd do best to bring him in soon. Better to be safe than sorry. No one here can diagnose your dog based on a picture :)

MY DOG HAd THIS Too. Looks IDENTICAL! Our vet said it was a dog form of herpes (yeah, I know...) and said it would go away on its own. It did and she hasn't gotten another growth yet, its been about a month, but I wouldn't be surprised (or as worried again) if she got another one. Good luck, let me know if your vet says something different!!

Also, my dog was a puggle. I just looked at your pics. What kind is your dog?

Papilloma viruses can stay dormant. it may be unusual for them to present interior the mouth nonetheless. in basic terms bypass the bridges as they arise, there is no longer something you're able to do till the mass is despatched away for prognosis. palms crossed for a robust result!

looks like warts to me but get him checked out by your vet.

I agree with bettathang my black lab had cancerous tumors in his mouth and we had to put him to sleep , we did not notice it until it got worse but we did get treatment had to go out of town once a month to a cancer center, she put him on a experimental drug to try to kill the cancer but he lost his battle with cancer 3 months later . if you get it checked out ASAP then you stand a better chance of saving him.
