I have a problem with switching letters when i write...?

Like if im writing, i accidently leave out letters and stuff, or write the wrong letters. A lot of times i write 8 instead of H etc... or leave off letters in the middle of the word subconciously... also sometimes when i talk i accidently switch syllables in different words... its really wierd. is this an actual disorder? i know its kind of like dyslexia maybe but i actually learned to read at like 4 so i dont think that really fits.

I don't think its a disorder... like I always forget to write letters or even words like "the" or "a", mostly because I write really fast and I have a mixture of cursive and just plain connecting letters in my writing. Sometimes I also read numbers the wrong way around, but I'm preeetty positive I'm not dyslexic. You might just be going to fast (like I do sometimes) or maybe it's just a quirk of yours.

I'm like that sometimes as well, I usually write 4 instead of A, and repeat repeat words and stuff, I think dyslexia is different, my friend has it and he told me when he looks at a word or a sentence he dosn't know what it means until he breaks every letter down and thinks about it logically, and sometimes if he makes a mistake in this thinking stage the word can become something completely different.

I would ask your PCP about and see if you should get tested for dyslexia or another learning disability and who you should go see to get tested. I am going through this myself right now. I learned to read at 3 and I have advanced Multiple Sclerosis.

I also had a severe case of hepatitis A and was hspitalized for 3 weeks last christmas. I noticed this problem after I got home when I had to deal with the bills I don,t no if it was my MS or the hepatitis we are trying to figure it uot now.

    Good luck

I think that you are trying to go too fast or that you have other things on your mind while you are writing. Slow down and concentrate on what you're doing. All of us have your problem to some degree or other.

Rule nothing out! If you're still in school have yourself checked out by a reading teacher.

Why not ask a doctor or a psychologist or something?
