i beta test for microsoft and have been running vista for over a year on one of my machines. there has been so many compatibility issues it has been hard to keep running but most of the issues have been resolved. vista runs so many programs at start-up and in the back ground it takes a huge amount of resources to have it run at a decent speed. a computer that has a label "vista ready" may not be able keep up. my advice is to buy a computer that has at least double the recommended RAM to run it.
if you want pretty, vista is the one for you but as far as productivity win 2000 or win xp are great operating systems and are compatible with most everything.
i like vista but i won't make it my main operating system until they get all of the bugs worked out.

it ability that your replica of abode windows vista is already put in on somebody else's notebook. once you purchase microsoft, you're paying for the license, no longer the relatively utility. Sorry, however the only thank you to repair this subject is by ability of procuring for a clean replica of abode windows.

No. I still run Windows 2000. It's nice and fast and has everything I need.
Vista, on the other hand, is mad slow. It's uses so much memory it makes my head spin!
