It sounds like from your question that you currently live in another country, in this country that you live in, you had a child by a man from that same country

now you are seeking to relocate to USA, and want to be able to bring your child by the other man to USA

without knowing what country you are currently in, how active the father is in the child's life, more importantly the laws of your country, it may or may not be a problem

You will need to check with the laws in your country. If you were in the states, yes you would need permission. Does the father have visiting rights that he executes? If so, that could be a problem. Best of luck.

Since you are married you probably count as an American citizen and could do yourself, except it sounds like he's in the military so you probably outta have him check with the powers that be so that you don't get all the way there and have a problem.

I can only speak for the laws in this country, the US, but you would need to father's consent to leave this country with the child.

by the way it sounds you are in another country and your husband is in the us military, if this is true you can get in touch with your husbands unit where you are at now and they will help you with this situation.

if he is actually involved with his daughters life you two should work something out.
