no, you have official firmware.. the reason we know this is because you dont know if you have it. if you installed custom firmware, you would know.
and no, that wont work.
you dont have a homebrew enabled psp.
sony firmware doesnt have recovery mode. all custom firmwares have recovery.

you have to downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrade to 3,40 oe go to psp hacks and read the guides before you try any of this.
