my 5 yr old lost her two front teeth a year ago. Her permanent teeth havent grow in yet. Is that normal?

Update:

Did she get them knocked out? If she did, then those permanent teeth might not show up for another year or so. However, if she lost them naturally, the permanent teeth would be in by now. My daughter lost a couple of her front teeth too early and the permanent teeth didn't come in until about two or three years later. The dentist said it all all right to leave the spaces as they were because she didn't look like she was going to need a spacer to keep those area open.

When my cousin was younger she got her two front teeth taken out, and it took her about 2-3 years to grow them in.

We were both 6 years old.

But maybe you should talk to a dentist.

take her to the dentist and have an "occlusion" x-ray done to make sure of the position of her front teeth, sometimes it takes time for them to come out, but better make sure she has them
