analog to didgital video and audio help?
i am trying to record my homemade analog videos to my computor using a dazzle dvc 150 everything goes right but it will only record about 5 seconds of tape allthough the the camcorder is stll running. It,s the same when isame when i try to record audio tapes any help please

It sounds like your running out of memory or something. Check in your preferences whether its set up for just five minutes capture.
Sometimes it may be that the resulting captured file is hugely big ie 2GB+ (and sometimes windows doesn't like that, esp as an avi as they never expected anyone would want an avi that big.) so maybe your usable memory is not enough for a full capture.
You might try using Virtualdub to import the video, because it can chop or reencode on the fly.
As for audio, you could play it through your soundcard and record it using Audacity
