we have had this question before.

i think if the liable cases started for innacurate and

slanderous comments, it would soon calm down.

I thinks its good that awareness has been generated for the thousnads of children that go missing each year and also the awareness of how fragile & susseptable children are

what is sad, are peoples assumptions & personal snapshots of a situation from a distance twisted world, and the happy argueing & slandering of other users ... WITHOUT sticking to the truth.

Yes - the amount of interest that has been stirred up in this situation seems obsessive. The bits of speculation appearing in the press have led to much argument, with many trying to decide who is innocent or not. At the end of the day it is not for the majority/people to decide this, and whatever legal pronouncement is made in due course should be accepted and allowed to close the matter. However, I think books will be written on the subject because already it is of such widespread interest.. Whatever the outcome, it's a tragedy that , a daughter and sister has been lost to a family.

If only the large windows and door of the apartment had been locked - what a different situation there would be now.

I'm fed up with them too... But I wouldn't like Y!A to stop accepting Q's on anything. People should be free to Q/A about whatever they choose.

I choose not to read or answer the Mccann Q's.. Which means I pretty much avoid the whole section... But I'm for freedom of speech personally... Let 'em speculate if they so choose...

I don't think they should 'ban' questions about the McCanns, but some of them are rather insensitive. As much as I would prefer not to read them, a lot of people seem to have considerable interest in this case. It no longer seems like an important and serious news story, people seem to be treating it like a 'whodunnit' mystery for us as a public to witness. Am bored of it all now.

Yes, yes, yes, and a thousand times yes. I am so bored and fed up hearing about those flamin McCanns.....Tfheirs is not the only little girl to have ever gone missing. And insofar that i feel bad about maddies disappearance, i wish the whole media trip would just shut up.

I don't think so. I doubt if Yahoo has the facility to do so now.

I agree entirely that the malicious and retarded dickwits who keep going on about them are bores who sometimes tempt rational people to respond; (I plead guilty!).

But those same people or others of that ilk might well use such a facility, if available, to prevent rational discussion by rational people of other matters.

And then there other matters about which otherwise reasonable people disagree strongly and would wish to stifle debate.

I'm fed up with questions regarding the McCanns on Yahoo.

But don't think they should be stopped cos where does that lead to? Would it mean any subject that doesn't appeal gets censored. It's easier to not read them,Just chill and ignore em.

NO ;we should be able to comment on what we think or believe; however I would like to see a BAN on any kind of wisecracks,or so called jokes made about a MISSING 4 YEAR OLD CHILD, EVERY DECENT MINDED PERSON who comes on here should SEND IN A REPORT against these PHSYCO SICKOS, who think it is funny to make jokes about a missing child.the more reports sent in will soon stop this childish sick behaviour

Yep - sounds like a bloody good idea to me! It would make life much nicer, although I'm sure some people would just look for something else to argue over!
