He could be out or safe,
As you run down the line when you get about half way to first there is another sort of box to the right of the line, if the runner is in that "box" and gets hit, he is safe, that is the place he is supposed to run, if he is not in it, like example on the left side of the line, more in play, he is out for not running in that area.
This is so runners cant do that purposely and get in the way, they have to be able to make some sort of play.

The batter would be safe at first base. If the throw clearly would have beaten the runner, the pitcher would be charged with a throwing error. If the official scorer judges that the play at first would have been close, the batter would most likely be credited with a hit.

If the runner is to the left of the first base foul line they are out. If the runner is on the right side they are safe!

The runner would be safe. However, if the pitcher just barely hit the runner and yet the 1st basemen catches the ball before the runner touches the base. Runner is out then. It also depends on the umpire covering 1st base and what his opinion is on that play.

He is safe if he had both beet inside or over lines making the lane when he was hit. He is also permitted to exit the lane in the last steps, to reach the base.
Otherwise he would be out.
If the ball reaches the first baseman and the runner is out anyway, interference is ignored.

A runner is only out when hit by a batted ball, so he is safe with a hit.

the runner/bunter is not out, if they reach the base before the ball is recovered by the other team, they are safe.
