Is there a way to trick a website into thinking you live in the USA?

ABC offers free full length episodes on it's website, but only to people in the US.

I can spit on the US boarder from my window but I can't watch the shows- is there anyway to make the site think I'm in the USA?

Generally very hard as it's usually worked out from your current IP address which in your case I guess resolves to either a Canadian or Mexican company.

Unless you want to start faking your IP in every packet (not easy!) then I can't honestly think of a way around it. Not sure the above is even possible with Windows, but can be done with Linux.

Edit: Beats self with olive branch for forgetting about proxies, assuming the site doesn't check for them.

You could try using a proxy, or a network such as Tor. So long as you have a US I.P., it should work.
