Yes the USA will win and i'm not just saying this because I am a huge USA fan but because I've seen the USA play Brazil many times and Brazil just isn't playing the best game it can right now. The USA faced Brazil twice in the last olympics and even though the Gold Medal game went into overtime (Olympic rules for overtime are different) Brazil was simply getting lucky when they had chances in the attacing 3rd. Brazil is not playing a technical game like the USA does, however the Brazillian women do play an extremely physical game like their male counterparts do so this does help their cause but with a USA team in better shape physically than they have ever been its not as a big of an advantage for Brazil as it could be. If Brazil wants to beat the USA to go to the final next week they need to step it up technically. If the USA wants to beat brazil to go to the final next week they need to start finishing chances, the chances are always there they just need to take the extra step towards putting the ball in the net and then the game is theirs and probably the world cup.

My final would be this: USA and Germany with the USA team victirous to seek revenage against the team that kept them from winning the World Cup 4 years ago. These last 4 games (including the 3rd place game) are going to be truely amazing games and the best team will be the team holding the trophy at the end of the game on September 30th.

i haven't seen much of US but Brazil is very beatable. Australia, a group of amateurs, (i'm friends with the goalie Melissa Barbieri) showed them by being fighting from 2-0 to make it 2-2. australia could have equalized with a penalty in added time but alas.

Brazil can be a bit shaky in defence and they aren't so good in the air. the US should make sure not to allow long range shots

Well,I believe that US can't pass over Brazil.If you have in your team players like Marta,Simone or Cristiane,I don't think you can be defeated by a very good team,too,but not like yours.Maybe the only team who can stop Brazil is Germany.
