boy cat was neutered, now sister hisses at him???????????

Yesterday, I had my male cat neutered. His sister cried all night for him, and I know she missed him. Today, I brought him home from the clinic, and now all she wants to do is hiss and growl at him. Why? Should I keep them separated for a while, or just leave them alone? This is driving me crazy. If anyone has been through this, please help!!?? Thank you

Update:

I should add, that she's already been spayed, and he didn't act any differently toward her. That's why I'm confused.

Update 2:

the vet kept him overnight because he was too groggy to come home at 5pm when I checked yesterday. It was their idea, not mine!

To her, he smells like the vets office. Just wait until the smell wears out. Or use baby wipes. Thank you for being a responsible pet owner.

Cats bypass into warmth cycle 12 months around. I do desire her spay appointment is incredibly quickly. i could separate them simply by fact he's able to having her pregnant as much as two months after being neutered. precise now she's hissing simply by fact he has wellness facility smells on him. yet he will attempt to nonetheless breed her and he can get her pregnant. Get her spayed by ability of end of the month. added - if she is coach high quality she must be bred. If no longer, then she must be spayed. and there is not any "pill" for use on cats to shrink the warmth cycle. There are experimental pills and breeders have got here upon that the ladies have a good style of issues conceiving in the event that they used the pill on the cat.

He smells a little different now. She'll get over it: I've seen things like this time and again with my various feline companions. Besides, he would also smell a bit like the vet's office- and few critters like that! I even read a story about a police dog refusing to search a veterinary clinic when his human partner sent him!

he doesn't smell right. my kitten had to leave mum and dad cats to go to the vets for a check up as he isn't well and when we came home i could smell on him the antiseptic so that is really strong. mum who he cuddles up with rejected him for a few days till he smelt like her boy again. she was also like this when the adult tomcat went in for fixing she hated him for a few days till he smelt right again. i now use a damp cloth that has been left for them to play with while one or other are at vets and rub this over the one who has alein smells and it seems to stop this. it is also the fact he abandoned her over night which is unusaul to keep toms in over night queens they do as it is more intrusive when fixing. if they ever have to go in again over night ask the vet if they can stay together some will allow this as it reduces stress. hope this info helps
