Calling all Olympus FE-230 Digital Camera Users! What does it mean when your camera says "Picture Error"?

Alot of times this can happen when something is wrong with the memory card, like it being next to a phone or cell phone when a call comes through or the microwave. It could mean you need to reformat the memory card. If you have a different memory card put that in and see if you have the same error. I bet that takes care of the problem. I had a similar problem with a different type of camera lost a bunch of pictures due to a similar error.

If you are able to view all the images up to that point this error means that image is corrupt. try to delete the image before the image itself and the one after and see if you can then view all the images,, if nothing works then you should format the card.

I have this camera and love it to death....however knock wood, i have never gotten that messge. i would guess it means that something is wrong with the memory card, or the lens....sorry i couldn't be more of a help :)
