ARE these Guys for REAL..LOL.LOL..email received?

From: Mr. Soloman Ngema

Phone:+27-781770031

E-mail: solomanngema@yahoo.it

Dear Partner,

First, I must solicit your confidence in this transaction. I am a high

placed official working with Department of Finance (& Economic Affairs),

in Cape Town South Africa. I and two other colleagues are currently in

need of a silent foreign partner whose identity we can use to transfer the

sum of (USD$21,000,000.00)Twenty One Million U.S. dollars. This

fund accrued legitimately to us as commission from foreign contracts,

through our private connections.

The fund is presently waiting to be remitted from ABSA bank here in South

Africa to any overseas beneficiary confirmed by us as associate/receiver.

By virtue of our positions as civil servants in my country, we cannot

acquire this money in our names. Because as high placed civil servants, we

are not allowed by the civil service code of conduct to own or operate bank

accounts outside of our shores. On the other hand, it is not safe for us

to keep the money here due to unstable political environment. I have been

mandated as a matter of trust by my colleagues, to look for an overseas

silent partner who could work with us to facilitate transfer of this fund

for our mutual benefit, hence the reason for this email. What I am requesting from you

is:(1) to be our silent partner and receive the funds as the sole

benefactor to the contract amount which we shall secure all legal

documentation to authenticate our claim. (2) Provide a private telephone

and fax number for easy communication under your control. (3)Receive the funds as the

beneficiary; take out your commission and keep the rest of the money until

I arrive there to meet you after the transfer is completed.

My proposal is that after you receive the funds, it would be shared as

follows: (1) 15% to you as commission for your co-operation and assistance

in facilitating the transfer, while the remaining 85% belongs to me and

two colleagues. You will be free to take out your commission immediately

after the money hits your country. Since our objective is to invest the

money in a foreign country, it would be appreciated if you could also help us with advices and direction on investing into profitable ventures in your country.

However, this is optional, and if it is not convenient for you to further

assist us with investing the money, we can end our cooperation after you

make available to me our part of the money. The transaction, although

discrete, is legitimate and the money will be transferred successful with

all necessary back-up official documents showing legitimate source/origin

of fund. The transfer will be affected within a period not longer than two

weeks as soon as we reach an agreement and you furnish me with a suitable

response indicating your interest for processing the transfer. I plead

with you on one issue, whether you are interested or not, kindly do not

expose this information to any one else.

I confirm that the transaction is legitimate and without any risks either

to us or yourself. Please, give me your response immediately by return

mail through my alternative email address: solomanngema@yahoo.it

Yours Faithfully,

Mr. Soloman Ngema

I get scams like that through regular snail mail. Along with a check for a couple of grand for me to cash. Yeah, I just take it back to the post office and let the postmaster handle it, since it is a federal crime or something along those lines.

    Hey guy,

Know what you mean...Irritating to get that crap...I had several in my bulk...why I have my settings on high...never know what they might send with it..

What gets me?..When you get it in standard mail with a check!...The lengths they go to..when I get one with a check in the mail?..send it to the local F.B.I. office, though I am not sure they are even bothering with this anymore...I would hope people are smart enough by now, that if they get something that is too good to be true?..It probably is...that is the way it always goes....lol.. Don't you know?..they are always from South Africa, or Nigera?..Which of course is right there also..they think we are dumb..though, I have heard of people falling for these scams...not me!...

I have had 17 of these in the last 4-days! They are so annoying; shame they are not for real as I would be a very wealthy man...

Got a great image of a laughing horse now... lol

I don't know what everyone else here is laughing about. But hey, it sounds like you don't like that deal. And if you're going to let that opportunity pass you by, I'll do it.

I wish I were lucky enough for someone to pick me out of the blue and offer $3.15 mil.

I wonder if they'd pay my way to South Africa to deliver their share in person? It'd be right hospitable of me, and I'd have a free vacation...

    Hmmm.....

Do you know these people? Have you been in contact with them before? This is SPAM! Delete it and if you get anymore e-mails from people you don't know, DO NOT open them!! They can contain worms or trojan horses which can cause serious problems, affect your computer and they can also get all your account details.

    It's Scamtastic!

Why don't you play along - start asking him questions about himself and make them progressively sillier and sillier - will he tell you what his favourite kind of fruit is, because you don't trust people who like pineapple, for example?
