Xanax -Have you ever had to take it over a period of time and then successfully discontinued use.?

I am concerned about addiction and would like to hear some input. Also any feed back on Zoloff, is it easy to wean yourself off of it.

Xanax is a benzoid it is very easy to get both mentally and physically addicted. If you take it long enough you will get physically addicted period. You can get off but it's hard like withdraw from any physically addicting drug.

I was taking xanax for a year when my insurance ran out. I went off cold turkey and was terribly sick for 6 weeks with nausea and vomiting every day. It's definitely best to wean yourself off of it by gradually decreasing the dosage.
