I usually Use this shampoo called Hartz. It works really well for my lhasa apso All you have to do is watch him up and leave your dog dipped in this shampoo for about 5 to 10 minutes and the fleas will die you will see em when you rinse your dog off trust me that works for my dog also there s this different types of stuff like the front line for one i heard that works really well just stay away from the flea collar that has never ever worked for me i swear I think that s the worst thing you could ever buy and be careful with the sprays my dog has allergic skin and this caused him to get a really bad rash so i stop using that to me this has been the safest and if your on a budget you can get the shampoo for a cheap as 5 to 6 bucks depending where you go try walmart ! But as long as you bath your dog regularly with this shampoo once a week they will be gone.

Do NOT use Hartz products or anything over the counter. The products are VERY toxic to your dogs. And they do not work. In this case you get what you pay for. Call your vet and get what he recommends.

Bathing your dog once a week with a toxic flea shampoo is just plain stupid.

They sound like fleas. Frontline may not work for you dog. Try Advantix, or ask your vet to recommend another monthly treatment.

Are they little bugs that are stuck in his skin and you cant pull them off? If so they could be sheep ticks. You need to go to the vets to get these removed as if you pull the heads off they stay inside the skin and can cause infection.

They are bloodsuckers and will get bigger every day at your dogs expense.
