how do i stop a company adding there desktop symbol,every time i turn on my p.c,i cant seem to block them?

Sounds like something in your startup programs.

I'd recommend a (free) utility, WinPatrol, which will help organise and get rid of unwanted startup programs, as well as warn you of unauthorised changes.
