how do you differentiate dreaming about your departed from a spiritual visit??

I have previous dreams about my departed mom and sister and another loved one, but in that dream, I never thought that they are dead, it's as if they are still with us and still doing what they used to do.. Most of the time, they appear altogether in one scene in one particular dream. Do you think that it is a spiritual visitation or just a pigment of my subconscious mind? If you believe that dreams have their meanings, do you have any interpretation in these kind of dreams?

They may have died however their Souls live on and their memories are always with you

Spiritual Dreams are in which you experience or gain special insight into the spiritual or religious aspect of life. You may experience meeting guides, angelic or demonic beings, or even friends or family members who have died.

If someone that has past over comes to visit in a dream it could be you need comfort or healing, sometimes just to let you know they are always there if you need them

If you are still in mourning for their loss it maybe just to help you to let them go, as they gave you great memories to hang onto and no one can take that away

It can also be they are coming to prepare you for your Spiritual awakening so many are waking up and looking for answers

These are some of the benefits of meditation:

1.Improved concentration - A clear mind makes you more productive, especially in creative disciplines like writing.

2.Less bothered by little things - Do you sometimes allow yourself to get upset by little things? It is the nature of the mind to magnify small things into serious problems. Meditation helps us detach. We learn to live in the here and now, rather than worrying about the past or future. We do not worry about meaningless things, but see the bigger picture.

3.Better Health - There have been numerous studies pointing to the health benefits of meditation. The reason is that meditation reduces stress levels and alleviates anxiety. If we can reduce stress, many health benefits follow.

4.Knowledge of Self - Meditation enables us to have a deeper understanding of our inner self. Through meditation we can gain a better understanding of our life’s purpose.

I've had these types of dreams before and they are usually very comforting. I'm a bit conflicted, however, as I've heard advisements on being cautious of "familiar spirits" suggesting that they could be evil spirits masquerading as loved ones who've passed on. Don't know if this is the case or not, but in my case the dreams have seemed VERY real (even though I know they're dreams) and have always left me with a sense of peace at the person's passing.

As for interpretation, perhaps it's your own, subconscious way of creating peace and an opportunity to move forward in the grieving process.

I am giving you this link to a web site where you can try to interpret your dreams.

I think it could be a sign from your passed loved ones telling you that they are with you. Threw your subconscious mind, in your dreams. I hope this helps you out a bit.

I believe it could be either.

I had a dream of my grandmother in a body bag a year after she died, I doubt that was a spiritual visitation.

I have yet to have a dream where a passed loved one came to tell me they were alright or give me some kind of information but I won't say that this doesn't happen either.

I'm not so sure about whether or not dreams have meanings, although My sister in law did tell me a story just earlier of her sister(who died a few years ago, from an over dose on meth) visited her in a dream. you could be simply thinking of them.. I'm sure you do...and in your dreams you see them happy and alive... (as anyone would want it to be with their family) and in another instance my mom had a dream of my grandmother who had died of cancer. whether or not these have any true meaning,or just a part of thinking about your loved ones after they are gone, I'm not sure.

Maybe you miss them a lot and think about them often and that leads to dreams, but memories are real in their own timeline so for those few minutes you remember them they are alive.

This is just your mind. When it is an actual spiritual visit, you will be aware that they have passed away. Also, it is believed that when you have a spiritual visiatation, whatever the deceased says in your dream is true.
