My boyfriend got an Oscar for his aquarium.?

Oscars have huge personalities. They dont like change very much and they will let you know if they are upset. They are not usually to aggressive but we had one that would spit rocks at the front of the tank every time he was hungry! They know there owners and like i said, they will let you know what they want. Alot of times when you just get one or change things, they get stressed and act depressed. Sopmetimes they even look like they are going to die, but most of the time it only takes a few days to recover. Good luck!

Hi dude, there is nothin to worry about as its just the normal behavior of any oscar.In order 2 make ur friends oscar more active add sum 2 tea spoons of rock salt 2 the tank .it works !

yes they are slow moving and sleep a lot. is the tank big enough. they get to be huge fish, but they are very easy to take care of. I would not be worried unless he developes spots then go to the pet store for drops.
