Suggestions for getting a management postion in retail. Been doing it 35 yrs.?

    Are you sure you want to be a manager after 35 years? I hate to burst your bubble, usually if your a good worker, you would have been asked a long time ago to be a manager.

    I am sure that over the 35 years you've seen others get promoted. Have you copied what they did to get ahead?

    umm manage the retailing of yourself though a job application and resume, and perhaps canvassing businesses and contacts for employment
