What are some good online games anyone would recommend?

Um if your talking about mmorpg's Phantasy star on-line series, The world of warcraft series. Shooting would be like Counterstrike, Socom 1-3, Halo 1-3. That's all I could think of in 20 seconds that are pretty good. Can you give us more info like what type of game or if its supposed to be freeware or if for pc or a gaming system.
