Siapa suka makan makanan time hari raya??

Just half of a ketupat and some delicious kuah kacang. Yum yum!

I love my mom's spicy chicken rendang which goes well with lemang and beef meat floss aka serunding daging!!..every year we actually have our raya menu must haves routines..and they are...

-spicy chicken, beef and 'perut' rendang

-serunding daging and ayam

-laksa johor (eventhough i'm not a johorean!! hahaha)

-ketupat palas

-sambal udang

-roti jala

-kek lapis berempah from jakarta!

-raya biscuits (my mom love those old time style biscuits)

-jellies and sweets (for the young ones)

-kuih siput!!! (my ultimate favourite!

and the list goes on....!!

cant wait for raya!

just reminded me that me and family used to go to friends' place during raya every year when i was little. and that was few days in a row. and ate without cutlery. it was so goooood. cant remember exactly what we had... but i am a big fan of malay and indian food! gone were the days...
