How do you post a link in Word Press?

I am trying to post a link in a WordPress blog type thing. I want it so when you click on the word it goes to the site. Like where it would say click here and here is highlighted and a link. How do I do this? Please help!!

    Click on the Source button in the post editor and type such code:

    <a href="http://fakedomain.com"/ target="_blank">your word to link</a>
