I did, When I was 15 and she 14. I was chubby and afraid to show my feelings. At 17 I joined the Marines and lost 85 pounds in 12 weeks. I couldn't wait to show my feelings to her, but her family moved away. I had her picture done in silk in Japan. When I got home from Vietnam , I searched for her. I traced her to a few places but always arrived too late.
Life went on , I married , divorced , looked for her , married divorced, looked for her . Married divorced , looked for her. For 40 years I looked for her. Then came the computer , I looked for her. 5 years ago I found her in the obituary.
All the memories of my youth rained on me, all at once. My heart was broken. I lost her again.

I cannot even imagine my life without my husband or my son. I met my hubby in 10th grade in highscool and we have been together 21 years now! he is my best friend and lover as well as my husband. we do everything together! Im sure they would have to lock me in a rubber room and throw away the key cuz I would go out of my mind. Or become a total lush just to block out the pain!

I sank into a deep depression for several years. I only went through the motions of living.

Nothing... but I would feel dead if he were gone. First I would cry... a lot, I'm sure. But I'd would've died, too. I mean, maybe I'd still be walking around but my heart would stop for good.. which is about the same as being dead.
