Am I racist? Black Supremesit?
4 days ago I made a video titled "South Africa" about Race Relations, Black Economic Empowerment and Affirmative Action and soon after it was up I recieved mail and comments saying that I was a racist against white people.
Others have told me that it is not racist at all! Infact I asked this question before and recieved good positive feedback and insights. What do you think? Am I being harsh on whites? Am I just expressing the truth. You must remember that my country has just come out of Apartheid (12 years ago) and some wounds for some people are still fresh. Should i just get over it as others have suggested?
Here's the link to the video:

Sometimes the truth is very ugly and it hurts, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be told. The second link does work now.

Hey, I tried to watch your video, but the link doesn't work. I don't know dude. I get very angry with SOME people in our country, that just see white people as bad and racist. You know I am in my mid 20's and non of my Black, Coloured, or Indian friends think they have been part of Apartheid, and they all were born around 1980. My best friend back home is Black and he is so over the whole race thing, he doesn't blame "Apartheid" for anything, he is well educated his got a great job and earns more than most 40 year olds. He speaks Afrikaans with a white accent and I am so proud of him for showing all the other black people that you can be successful without getting the advantage of Black Empowerment. He did everything on his own. I love him.
If you are somewhere in you 20's you can't blame Apartheid for your miss fortune. I live in a country that sucks..South Korea, and I miss South Africa, but I am a white male and struggle to get a good job with a god pay in SA, because everything is AA.
If you ever have the chance to go to Cape Town, go to Mercury Lounge, M-bar and all those places in Long Street and see how many young black people are successful and chat to them, see how open minded they are. I love the fact that people stand up and make success in stead of blaming Apartheid. Furthermore, Apartheid officially close in 1991 when Madiba got out of jail..thats 16years ago and long before that Apartheid was dead.
Alternatively, come visit me in South Korea and see what racism is. Or go to Swizterland, Germany or USA and see that they don't have a name for it, like "Apartheid", but it is very much a live in those countries..I've lived there.
Be glad about the new laws in SA, but don't generalize and blame young white people, as we had no say in Apartheid. We were too young!Feel free to contact me if you want to chat,

You are expressing your truth, your perspective. Others did not view it that way. I grew up with three siblings. I am always amazed at how differently they view and remember the same events.
12 years is nothing in terms of race relations. We have struggled here for 150 years to figure out what equality really looks like and we still can't agree.
I didn't hear anything anarchic in yourvideo, but I did see a lot of white backlash in the comments.

possibly, but then again i hear the "N" word more from blacks than i would at a klan meeting. you want good race relations, don't degrade your race. i have always believed there is no reason to put yourself down
