Red lipstick or gloss?

for medium brown skin complexion i've learned that plum is the best color for that type of skin + it's in! But given those to options I would use the gloss, it lasts longer!

try a light pink with gloss

Gloss is better in my opinion because it is easier to take off and it's sheer and it doesn't look like your wearing a lot and if you kiss a guy he won't look like he has some lipstick on. hope you make the right choice for you.

You have to understand that Red Lipstick or Lipgloss doesn't work for everyone. Depending on your skin-tone you should get something that's redd-ish looking that best compliments your whole face. =)

red lipstick looks really ugly on mostly everyone so take my advice...stick with the gloss. It's cuter and more approchable anyways. :]
