so theres this new girl...?

in my crew of friends. the 1st few times we hung out, a few guys in my crew were kinda feeling her like that. we flirted, but thats just in my nature. but out of all the homies, i connect with her the most. we're both artist, like the same music, but i can engage her in a more meaningful and deeper conversation than any of the homies can. in the beginning i wasnt really feeling her like that until we were parting ways the other day and we held a hug for about 6 minutes straights, me: flirting as always. yah it was wussy stuff,whatever. but last night, we were chillin again, but also in attendence were my other friends that are liking her. throughout the night she chilled with me for the most part, and was vibing me out the most. she sat on my lap a few times.so i hear a close ladyfriend of mine sit her down, trying to find out what was up with my other friends trying to run up on her.i didnt eavesdrop, so i chilled.so how do i go about finding the situation,w/o c-blocking friends?
