Do journalists have shame?

"The decline signaled a U.S. success in bringing down violence in Baghdad and surrounding regions since Washington completed its infusion of 30,000 more troops on June 15". This is the second paragraph of todays (October 1, 2007) AP article that discusses the success the "surge" is having. Funny how it's not W's success but Washington's. That's a first. "Washington" is full of cowards and they get credit for the success in Iraq? Calling all journalists. Will you credit Petraus, W and Crocker for their success this month?
