Textbook is 120 over 80. You don't have textbook. Your diastolic value though is 95 mmHg and should be considered. See a doctor.

It is important to note how you took your BP: Sit down or lay down for 5-15 minutes without any movement. Do not cross your legs when the reading is taken. Don't smoke or eat or drink any stimulants before the reading. If you are in pain, have a headache, dehydrated, or otherwise not in a normal state of health your reading will fluctuate.

Don't be silly! You don't need to go to the ER. But you do need to do something about your blood pressure: your systolic pressure (124) is a bit high and your diastolic pressure (95) is way too high. Eat less salt, lay off the booze, take walks, lose some weight, and learn to relax. You might also need a mild diuretic.

Recommended blood pressure these days is less than 115/75. (It used to be 120/80, but recent studies have provided a more accurate picture of when your risk of cardiovascular disease starts to rise.)

That's good. The figure stated most often is 120/80, but this will fluctuate between people. Smaller females for example will sometimes have blood pressures of 90/60 which is normal for them. But 124/95 is great

95 is a little high, but it also depends when you checked it.

recheck it 2 more times at 15 minutes apart and see what you get. a persons blood pressure changes every few minutes. and 95 really isn't that much to worry about, unless it's that way 24.7. but it's definitely not something to go to the ER about, unless you have other symptoms.

You systolic at 124 is fine and that is the more important one. Your diastolic at 95 is a bit high as it should not be above 90. In view of your good systolic figure you could probably ignore the slightly high diastolic figure.

120/80 is regarded as normal but lower down to 90/60 is much better. Higher up to 140/90 is still OK but anything higher needs treatment.

Your bp is elevated but it is not elevated enough to warrant a trip to the er. Try to start taking a diuretic everyday and see if it lowers it. It's just a simple water pill that you can get over the counter. Keep an eye on it. If it doesn't help lower it then you need to go see a doctor.

The 95 is a bit high. If you drink caffeinated drinks, you may want to cut back a little, lower your salt intake and get more exercise.
