yes there was christmas (it wasn't called christmas however) it is the combining of false with the true. the romans were celebrating saturnalia way before jesus was born. that is the celebration of the rebirth of the sun, which happened to be december 25. quite a conincidence don't you agree?

no jesus was born sometime in october, there were still sheperds in the field and they would not be out there in december. in december they would be in shelters with their sheep. christmas didn't even get incorporated into christianity until almost 400 years after christ when constantine made christianity the state religions thus born the catholic organization. if you read the scriptures never do you see the apostles or even jesus himself celebrating his own birthday or anyone elses for that matter if he had wanted us to celebrate it he would of told us too.

he did however command the memorial of his death, which is another story.

there is not any sturdy preparation on Pagans celebrating christmas until now Jesus grew to become into born, because of the fact it did no longer ensue. Christmas is the Mass of Christ and is no longer a pagan holy day. Traditions may well be comparable, however the uncomplicated ideals are distinctive.

Actually, Yule was a pagan festival to celebrate the winter solstice. Constantine, being a wise leader, realized he just couldn't tell people to stop celebrating their traditional holidays so he basically hijacked the Yule holiday and turned it into Christmas. It is for this reason that many of our Christmas traditions including the Christmas tree, the Yule log, and even the Christmas ham have their roots set firmly in pre-Christian pagan tradition.

No.Christmas was celebrated after the advent of Jesus and there is no question of His family's attending the Christmas because the festival was emerged after Christ's death.

Actually Jews do celebrate Christmas. However we observe it on December 26th by dancing around our cash registers and singing "What a Friend We Have in Jesus".

It’s so simple, but still you question this! Jesus died on that Good Friday and came alive on that Easter Sunday the Sunday of the Resurrection, made the people to recognize the Lord and to follow him on what all he said! Thereafter the days of birth, death and resurrection, all came to be celebrated form that tiny cattle shed of Bethlehem to now, worldwide by two billion people, who pray him not just for money and pleasure but for the peace and harmony for all!

There was no christmas before Jesus. It was stolen from other religions to make converting them easier.
