Adobe Indesign - $899 to the US but £793 uk?

As it's possible to download Adobes Indesign, is there any reason I cant purchase it from america at the price of 799USD (about 400GBP) rather than getting ripped off at the UK price of 793GBP?

There shouldn't be, but I bet there will be.

We always pay a hell of a lot more here than they do in the US.

Just look at the US ITunes site!

You can do one better then that, but I don't know if it will work out for you, with you being overseas in GB and stuff. Check out this web site:

    AcademicSuperstore.com

You have to be a US student to get stuff from this site, if possible, have one of your on-line buds buy it for you.

    Cheers

You may get done on some import duty technicality, though for software sales I don't know what the law is on that, if there even is one.

Certainly registering US shareware online hasn't caused me any problems yet.
