  • T-shirts to suit a V-shaped Torso?

I've got a V-shaped Torso and I seem to have trouble finding T-shirts to fit properly,

I'm a 34 waist and 40 chest, and the only tops that seem to cater for people like me are diesel. Everything else just hugs my chest and then drapes off me like a tent, even tailored shirts don't cut in enough.

I've tried GAS, G-Star, and most of the deisgner brands but they all seem to be cut for skinny people rather than people who actually work out!

    Thanks in advance!

  • Gok Wan - Gay, or just as a fox?

We all seem to love the Gok, but is he Gay, or is he just a genius who's figured out how to hang out with naked girls all day long without being labelled a perv?

Gok - I salute you for bringing naked totty to our screens.

  • Revamping the wardrobe - Advice please people!?

    How do,

New years here and it's time to kick it off with a wardrobe full of new gear.

I'm 29, 6 foot, cropped hair with blonde highlights and ruffled look, 34 waist, 44 chest and good physique. Got a V shaped torso so I have to wear heavily tailored shirts as square cut ones make me look like a yacht sail.

I wear tailored shirts (Peter Werth usually), jeans (diesel boot cut) and shoes or if it's more casual then I go for slim fit T's with short arms (OK ok, to show the arms off), jeans and some retro trainers.

Thing is, I've worn that get up for a good 12 months now, and I need to move the game on! So any advice people? No skinny fit jeans, I work out and they make me look wierd!!!

  • Taking Property Photos - Advice Please?

    Hi there,

I'm looking into property photography to offer it alongside my other services to estate agents. Can anyone give me some tips?

I'm using an Olympus E410 with FL-36R flasgun and 14-42mm Zuiko lens sat on a tripod.

Really it's the finer things I need help with like ascertaining what white balance to use, and wether to gun for aperture or shutter prioroty modes and how to position the flash for best lighting, when to use bounce and when not to etc.

Any help would be greatly received! I've thumbed through various magazines but they all seem to follow the route of the seasoned pro rather than novice.

    Thanks in advance!

  • SOny Ericsson K880 - Forgotten PIN code? HELP!?

    Hi there,

my moron of a nephew has bought a new sony ericsson K800i and given it a nice cryptic "safe" PIN code. Problem is he can't remember the sodding code now and he has a £100 brick in his hand!

Does anyone know how to override the PIN and reset it, or maybe a master code? Or is it, as I fear, a trip back to sony to get it reflashed?

Many thanks in advance for any help!

  • Rapid day to day alternative to a Civic Type R?

I'm fortunate enough to be about to purchase a new car, and I'm currently looking at the Honda Civic Type R. It's a business vehicle so needs to be reasonable practical but still rapid.

I've vetoed the thirsty Focus ST, the Megane R26 (quickest of the pack but doesnt feel special) and the capable but boring golf GTi.

Was wondering if anyone had any ideas where else to look, I've seen the new vw Scirocco which would fit the bill, and Alfa's run out GT Cloverleaf is another temptation, but after the brutal ride of the civic, I'm considering going for something a little softer.

Anyone got any ideas? I'm in the UK so please bear that in mind.

    thanks for your thoughts

  • If I could do genuinely godly acts...?

Would you all become my followers? Or would your devout religious beliefs force you to think otherwise?

And I mean undisuptable acts of deitism like parting the oceans with a wave of my hand or bringing 5000 loaves of bread of of a kwiksave bag.

Would you see me as god, a messenger, a devil, an imposter? Would you believe your eyes or would the hammerings of religion make you blind to what would be an undisputable truth.

For the record, I'm not god, and I'm still practicing parting oceans.

  • Bear with me fellow Atheists....?

But my christian friend and his fellow agressors keep jibing me about how I shouldn't be celebrating christmas as I don't understand it's true meaning.

Why in the heck are christians so against me buying gifts for the people I love? Isn't that a big part of what they stand for in the first place?!? To give and not to receive? To be good to your family, friends and neighbours and all that?

Sounds a bit hypocritical to me, just because I'm not religious, doesn't mean I can't buy into the whole "love" thing.

Question is, do I return the MP3 player I bought him as a christmas present to prove a point?

  • UK - Self Employed Car Tax - Please Explain?

    Hello,

I am a self employed person and currently I use my personal car to do appointments wiith, and claim the mileage in the usual manner.

I've now got enough turnover to safely get a lease car (a citroen C2).

Can anyone give me a brief over view of how I pay tax for the car and how I allow for personal usage? I will be leasing the vehicle through my business, and using the car on about an 80% business / 20% domestic usage.

I'm seeing my accountant next week to discuss this among other things with him, but I'd like to go a little forwarned.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Can I get my Bonus Pro Rata when I leave work?

    Hi all,

I'm about to leave work and my current job pays me an annual bonus, with the term running from jan 1st to jan 1st (it's german accounting year, our parent company is german). I will be leaving around 20th december. We've made budget and technically I think I should be entitled to something.

Is there any legal requirement for them to pro rata my bonus? We normally get it pain in february once the accounts department has finalised the years totals.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Aren't we all atheists?

The way I see it, an Atheists disbelieves in all gods.

A religious person disbelieves in all gods bar one.

So aren't we all the same, atheists just going one god further?

  • Software for laying out brochures - which one to use?

    HI,

I've been approached by a client to produce glossy brochures for his products.

To that end, I need a package that I can professionally lay out design and send them for printing.

I have a copy of Adobe illustrator, but I've never used it, is that a decent enough package?

I also have Microsoft Publisher 2003. On tha basis that I can use MS word and MS Frontpage quite happily, this would be the easiest for me to pick up. But will it be up to my needs?

    Thanks in advance.

  • New Business Name - Selling Solutions, can you think of an alternative?

    Hi there,

I'm looking into launching a new business that deals with aspects of property marketing. Essentially, we are involved in HIP's reports, photography, leaflet publication and marketing for properties.

We came up with "selling Solutions" as it's encompasses a pretty wide spectrum of services, but worried its a little too vague.

Can anyone think of a similar or approriate name? Beer token for the winner! :-)

    Cheers in advance!

  • Can you recomend me some good Sci-fi books?

I've just finished reading "I am legend" by Richard Matheson, and I enjoy Michael Crichton's books (particularly "Prey").

Both books I found brilliant, but can anyone recomend me some good ones to read? One thing I really liked about the above two books were that although they were sci-fi, they make a good scientific approach to explaining the phenomena.

I also liked Arthur C Clarkes short stories where the emphasis is not on the actual explaining of the technology, but more on it's effects of such things upon human nature. To an extent, much in the same way as Mary Shelley's "frankenstein" went into more detail about the monsters reception in the public arena, as opposed to the physialogical in's and out's.

I think I'm trying to say that I prefer Sci-fi where the author makes a real attempt to integrate the fiction part in a realistic way (as opposed to klingons and photon torpedo's etc etc etc).

    Thanks in advance

  • Anyone Else read "I am Legend" by Richard Matheson?

What did you think of the book?

I finished reading it this weekend? What a brilliant book, particularly the way the main charachter turns from being a forlorn loner into a genocidal madman over the course of the story.

  • Citroen C2 VTS Alternatives?

    Hi there,

I need to put in an order for my new copany car. I do appointments round cities so something small is essential, but also needs to have enough poke to make sure I don't get stuck behind sunday drivers.

I'm keen on the Citroen C2 VTS, but can anyone suggest any alternatives I should also look at?

    Thanks in advance
